My recent stay at Aguas Abiertas was a pleasant experience overall. the hotel's prime location near El Peñón allows for convenient exploration on foot. However, I found some aspects of the accommodations to be lacking in comparison to the price point. the absence of AC or electric fans in the rooms made for stuffy conditions, and the breakfast offering of panela water and chocolate, instead of coffee, was a bit unexpected. On the upside, direct access to the water was a unique feature, adding a touch of exclusivity to the experience. For travelers seeking a more lavish experience, it may be worth exploring other options in the area.
